Jo Sonja Crackle Medium from Chroma, Inc.

A transparent medium to brush on your finished project, or to be used as a basecoat that will create 'porcelain' crazed effects. The results will be a fine crackled pattern that makes your project look hundreds of years old. We recommend that you experiment with scrap materials before applying to your project so you get just the look you want. Generally, the thicker and fresher the paint and crackle medium, the larger the cracks will be. And, you may add antiquing techniques to accentuate the crackle pattern. When painting over a crackled background, apply 1-2 coats of Clear Glazing Medium first as a barrier coat. Do not use a hairdryer or other heat source on paint before crackling. May be sanded smooth with dry. 8 oz. bottle.
