Thanks to Paul Simon you now know the 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, you now have some time on your hands and you’re looking at your walls (noticing how bland they are) wondering if there are 50 Ways to Paint a Wall.  Well, there are!  But unlike the song that really doesn’t give you 50 ways to leave your lover, this book by Gail E. McCauley really does give you 50 Ways to Paint a Wall.

 

Gail covers every way imaginable and some ways I never imagined to paint and texture your walls.  You are an artist and your walls should not be just a flat color, but should have color and texture as rich and deep as you are, right?  Right!  I have tried some of Gail’s techniques and have loved the outcome.  Some of the techniques require specialize equipment, but a lot of them do not.  She also covers the basics about types and finishes of paint, using the right tools, preparing your walls and techniques for a successful wall.
